Luke competed in his secound European Cup event at the Samorin Cadet Euorpean Cup, held in Samorin, a small town in western Slovakia near Bratislava and the Danube.
In his opening contest, Luke faced Matus Kozak (SVK) in the closing minutes of the bout, he successfully countered an attacfr from his opponent with a well-executed Ko Soto Gari, securing the victory.
His secound contest was against Marek Jaki (CZE, a stron and experienced competitor. Luke managed to launch several good attacks, any of which could have changed the outcome of the match. Despite his efforts , he ultimately suffered a defeat in this bout, bring his compeition to an end.
Overall, it was a valuable experince and a great way to start the year. Competing at this evel will only hlep Luke grow and improve as he prepare for future events.
