Age doesn’t matter in Judo. You can take as hard or as easy as you wish. It really is that simple.
What is Judo?
Judo is a form of martial arts that involves the use of certain holds, throws and locks. There will be a lot of grappling and controlled movements. Unlike other martial arts such as Tae Kwon Do and Karate, there are no kicks or punches in Judo.
When you combine physical activity, self-defense skills, spiritual development and peace of mind together, you’ve got the makings of a great activity that will not only keep you fit but that will also keep you motivated.
What Judo offers
Judo not only works out the body, but it also works out the mind. When taking Judo, you will build self-confidence, trust, self-discipline and respect for yourself and others.
If working out and the idea of fitness in general has somewhat lost its luster for you, then maybe it’s time to try a different approach. A martial art like Judo can get you up and moving in a way you’ve never experienced before.
